Nilda Ballesteros, attorney, in a gray blazer outdoors

Nilda Ballesteros

Attorney and owner of the office

Nilda handles every case herself, for renters and small landlords, in English and in Spanish.

Nilda opened this office to be the lawyer a person can reach before the court date, not after it. She reads every paper herself, and she checks for a conflict first, so she never acts for both sides of one dispute.

She speaks Spanish and English with clients and meets them at the office on Park Avenue, by phone or by video.

How the office runs

The lawyer you call is the one who reads your papers

Court dates go on the calendar before anything else. Letters and filings are written by Nilda, not handed to someone you have never met.

If we are not the right office for your problem, we say so on the first call and try to name someone who is.

  • Meetings at the office, by phone or by video

  • Papers in English or Spanish, read as they are

  • A written plan and fee before you sign
